	David Tanner heads up David Tanner & Associates, which offers expert services in the areas of: Risk Management- Market, Financial, and Operational Investment and treasury management Information technology project management Business planning and business strategy development With his broad areas of expertise, David Tanner also offers services in the area of corporate and institutional governance including: Boards of Directors Business Advisory / Development Boards Audit, Finance and/or Management Committees of the Board David has over 20 years in the financial services field, and was a Vice President at Toronto Dominion bank for 12 years. Most recently he was Vice President, Information Technology Audit with overall audit accountability for the entire TD Bank Financial Group technology operations and system developments. Under his direction, TD took on the largest IT project in its history: the systems integration of TD and Canada Trust. David and his staff ensured that more than 60 distinct systems integration projects were effectively managed, resourced, tested, coordinated with other projects, implemented and rolled out across Canada. Prior to this, David was Vice President, Asset/Liability Management with overall accountability to manage the interest rate risk, liquidity risk, cash management and foreign exchange risk of the bank’s assets and liabilities. David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from University of Waterloo, and a MBA from University of Toronto in 1983. He has taught courses in Investment Management at the MBA level at York University.
